Advance Safety Management Services Sdn. Bhd. was established in 2018 by industry professionals who possess extensive experience in Safety, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC).

ASM aspires to be a total solutions provider for the oil and gas industry in and outside of the country. ASM believes in providing high quality and timely project execution that is cost-effective to its clients.

ASM has developed expertise and experience in the provision of consultation services, engineering solutions, and training for the oil and gas sector; especially with regard to designing, mobilising, and managing multidisciplinary projects, oceans law, and, the Management of Major Emergencies (MME) competency training for oil and gas onshore managers, Qualitative Risk Assessment and Process Safety Management.

Prof Dr. Azmi Mohd ShariffManaging Partner & Safety Specialist

Prof Dr. Azmi graduated from University of Leeds UK in PhD Chem. Eng. He have more than 20 years of experience in safety related issues and have been providing safety advice and consultancy to various industry and countries such as Malaysia,UAE, England and United States. Prof Dr. Azmi is also a well known figure in Safety related industry.

Ian Norman Rizal SongManaging Partner & Chemical Engineer

Ian Norman is ASM’s Managing Partner as well as chairman of numerous successful small businesses across Malaysia. He oversees the continuous development of ASM’s flagship service; as well as leading the company’s executive team in operations including end-to-end deployment of the service across all customer segments.

Shazni AzmiMechanical Engineer & Specialist

Shazni Azmi is currently an active member of Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM). He is actively involved in various mechanical project in Malaysia. He is also a specialist in developing Process Safety Management solutions of numerous GLC & Oil and Gas industry throughout South East Asia
